Contactless pickup items do not require the person to be home to retrieve it. These could be items that have been left on the front porch or in the front yard and are free for you to come and take.
If the posted item requires contact with the poster, you should send them a message before leaving to pick up the item. If the person is not available, you can request more time from them to come and pick up the item. The poster of the item must grant you more time to pick up the item at a later date. You also have the option to extend your pickup window by purchasing additional time.
